On the eve of the Dragon Boat Festival (May 30), our kindergarten held a “Dragon Boat Racing Celebration” combined with a birthday party. Children learned about the origins and significance of the festival through nursery rhymes and stories. They participated in games like dragon boat paddling and zongzi (rice dumpling) relay races. Teachers demonstrated how to wrap zongzi, which the children then tasted together, experiencing the cultural traditions of this festive occasion. Birthday photos were taken and celebrations held for children born in May and June.
