On May 24th, our school hosted the “Traditional Chinese Festival - Dragon Boat Festival Parent-Child Workshop” on campus. This event introduced non-Chinese-speaking children and their parents to the significance and customs of the Dragon Boat Festival, immersing them in the festive atmosphere of this Chinese celebration! The event featured a rich program including tasting zongzi (rice dumplings), experiencing dragon boat racing simulations, and listening to Dragon Boat Festival stories. These activities exposed children to traditional Chinese festival customs and culture. By participating in these cultural celebrations, non-Chinese speaking families shared in the joy of the festive season together.
