On April 14th, we held the “Chinese Culture Experience Day” on campus. The school invited performance groups to showcase Peking Opera face-changing and acrobatics, introducing children to the origins and performance techniques of Peking Opera. By witnessing actors instantly transform expressions, children experienced the wonders of this quintessential Chinese folk art. Children even had the opportunity to learn basic techniques on stage, filling the venue with cheers and excitement. Throughout the performances, the children's applause echoed continuously, fully immersing them in the wonders of this national treasure. Additionally, we arranged various workshop experiences, such as making flour figurines, playing Chinese ball games, and paper-cutting art. These activities allowed children to learn about China's fine traditional culture through play, fostering a sense of belonging to China.
